Tyre Test Reviews - Analysis
of Tyre Brand Ratings
In this section we have made an attempt to allow you to
compare tyre quality by analysing the tyre performance characteristics
of individual brands. We've done this by consolidating the
tyre reviews regularly published by the consumer press across
Europe.
Because tyre testing carried out by each magazine is subjected
to different parameters and includes different cars, different
sizes, different brands etc, we have simply taken each brand
and model covered in the tyre tests we reviewed and briefly
summarised the key strengths and weaknesses of the tyres according
to the journalists who did the tests, focusing on specific
performance characteristics such as tyre grip, handling, braking
performance etc. We have only included the results from tests
that have taken place since 2006.
Included in the reviews in this section are summaries of
the tyre tests carried out by leading UK car magazines such
as Autocar, Evo and Auto Express as well as comprehensive
reviews from the German press.
The comments made in this section do not necessarily represent
our opinion of the tyres covered. The opinions should be used
as a guide only and understood for what they are, a series
of opinions, albeit the opinions of professional drivers.
