PZero System is described by Pirelli as the world's
first system utilising directional and asymmetric ultra
high performance tyres.
They are designed for use in tandem or separately according
to the type of car, conditions of use and driving style.
The asymmetric version of the tyre features a block
pattern inner section, a central area with two continuous
ribs and a semi-slick outer section.

The directional design overcomes the problem of wet grip
and aquaplaning associated with high performance cars fitted
with wide front tyres. As a solution the PZero Direzionale
can be used on the front to maximise water expulsion, leaving
a drier surface for Asimmetrico tyres on the rear.
