Pirelliis a major Italian corporation. The company produces a wide range of tyres including truck tyres, agricultural tyres and motorcycle tyres. However, the company is best known for its strength as a leading producer of high performance car tyres. Although the company's main headquarters are in Milan, Pirelli does have a production facility in the UK (in Carlisle).

Pirelli has carefully nurtured its brand image as a style leader thanks to the company's world famous Pirelli calendar.
