The GT2 is a standard summer tyre with it's main intention being to provide an all-round performance that manages to combine safety and comfort. The tyre offers excellent aquaplaning performance, as well as reduced levels of noise pollution. The offset block edge and the high impact groove angle at the centreline means that noise frequency peaks are decreased. Therefore, overall noise levels experience a decrease.

The straight circumferential grooves provide better water evacuation for improved performance in the wet and reduced aquaplaning at the same time.

The tyre also has the characteristic of a multi-radius tread shape for a balance in pressure distribution. This means uniform wear, better mileage and improved handling.
