| This higher performance tyre has now forthe
most part been superceded by the SP 9000.
The SP8000's main characteristic is its directional
tyre pattern. The tyre disperses water rapidly, giving
resistance to aquaplaning at high speed. The tyre's
silica tread compound, good standards of wet grip, a
decent tread life and excellent handling are all essential
performance criteria for the SP8000.
