Avon's ZV3 is characterised by a "tri-sector"
tread pattern. The product is especially aimed at sports
saloons. The ZV3 aims to offer low amounts of noise,
great steering response and good roadholding.
Since the tyre's tread pattern is split into 3 sections,
the inside shoulder attempts to efficiently disperse
water from beneath the contact patch. Meanwhile the
tread blocks are of a computer-optimised shape that
are designed to reduce noise levels by a large amount.

In addition, the centre segment of the tread pattern combines
diagonal grooves and a circumferential ring that was designed
in order to sharpen steering response and stop aquaplaning.
Finally, the outer shoulder has tread blocks that were created
to give cornering stability, increasing the product's confidence-inspiring
behaviour at the limit of its grip.

H and V and W rated sizes in 70, 65, 60, 55, 50, 45 and 40
series
