Toyo Proxes T1R

The Toyo Proxes T1R is a new generation Vshape UHP tyre designed exclusively for sport sedans and coupes and that meets the demand for high-speed stability and excellent handling under dry and wet conditions, while retaining low noise and optimum driving comfort.

This new tyre takes advantage of modern design technology and provides stable steering response and traction thanks to an improved tread pattern design, designed to offer superb braking performance as well as improved wear resistance.

The Proxes T1R features a newly designed silica compound, which effectively minimises heat-build-up. This, together with the improved casing profile, provide effective resistance against irregular wear and structural stress, resulting in extended total wear life. The new tyre has also been designed to offer excellent wet traction performance. This is provided by the unidirectional tread pattern with V-shaped main grooves and rigid shoulder rib pattern, which ensures superior water drainage performance, outstanding wet capability and high-speed handling.

Excellent dry handling and regular wear is assured by the rigid shoulder rib pattern. Meanwhile, optimal pressure distribution of the tyre structure ensures a road-hugging grip even under the most demanding road conditions, while retaining excellent riding comfort and braking performance under wet and dry conditions.
